Budapest is often described as the Paris of Central Europe. Certainly the tree lined Andrássy avenue stretching from the city centre to Heroes Square and the City Park close to the Széchenyi Thermal Baths is very reminiscent of Paris. The avenue was made even more famous when it was used in the making of the film musical 'Evita'.
Budapest has a spectacular water front with the Parliament building, the Gellert Hotel and the castle clearly lit up at night including the seven bridges that cross the Danube between Buda and Pest.
Hungary is a renowned country for its thermal baths, its wines and cuisine. An ideal weekend holiday break.
- Look out for your name sign when you arrive
- If paying on the day, pay in Euros or the local currency; credit card payment is not possible on the day itself.

+ Very well organised except for comment below. Would use you again.
- Was a bit confusing on our arrival at budapest airport. I was expecting a driver to meet us with my name on a card. This did not happen. Plane was early so we waited. It was only when one of our group spotted my name on a card held by a jet2 rep that we approached her. She then rang and organised our lift. I had booked you independently so was not expecting that. This could have been made clearer to us to save us worrying. Otherwise everything was fine.
