- We had booked a transfer at about an hour after hour flight arrival in order to have time to have lunch and let our child run around a bit. The driver waited for us already upon arrival, which is not bad in itself, but much earlier than requested. We would have liked our pick-up time to have been respected, rather than feeling embarassed about rushing to buy sandwiches to eat during the transfer. We had requested a child seat suitable for a child of 2,5 years old. The driver only provided a simple kind of hard pillowlike seat that we could use, but he asked us to take the child in our arms in case there was a police control! He was thus aware of that the seat he provided did not fulfill safety conditions. We had booked the transfer about a month in advance. There is absolute no excuse for not providing a proper child seat, and we find the way of handling this unacceptable. The journey itself was good otherwise. We have been requested to rate the journey on June 20, but we had booked a return on June 29 as well, also a month in advance. After having waited for 15 min, I called the company who then called the driver. It turned out he had had some "problem with the car" and would only be able to come 40 min later (i.e. one hour later than our reservation), IF AT ALL. The person I spoke to recommended us to find another solution. This is entirely unacceptable: First there was no one contacting us (I had provided phone number and email address) to inform us about the delay/cancellation, second there was no alternative solution provided. We were very close to miss our flight.
